1Tsugar
2 1/2tspinstant dry yeast
1/2tspsalt
1 1/4cupswarm waterbetween 100 and 110 degrees F
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except water.
Add the water and mix to form your dough. The dough will be slightly sticky.
Cover your mixing bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour. It will double in size and little holes will form on the top.
Place dough on a well floured surface and knead until it is no longer sticky, adding more flour as needed.
Shape dough into a rectangle and place in a 9x5 loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Press dough down to fill in corners of pan.
Cover and let rise one more time for 30 minutes. The dough will rise to just about the top of the loaf pan. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F while the dough is rising.
Bake for 20-23 minutes, until the top of the bread gets golden brown.
Use the parchment paper to pull bread out of loaf pan and place on cooling rack.
Try your hardest to let the bread cool before slicing.
Notes
If you don't have a thermometer to temp your water, just use really warm water that you would use to wash your hands.
